Wow!  I'm blazing back after, like, a year long absence!  But don't worry i've been keeping busy with plenty of art!  But the animations I work on don't get posted here :(  But now with my new hobby to keep my hands busy and my eyes off the computer screen at night I have found crochet!  And of course combined it with my favorite things: cute and food.  :D  Enjoy the oncoming onslaught of crochet items, food at first but some Christmas designs are in the works!

SOLD! woot! the cupcake on the blue picnic print sold this friday at my monthly first friday escapade!  The gallery shows were impressive in that they were all end of the year collections so everyone's work was being featured.  One gallery had 50 artists work displayed!(and its a very tiny gallery mind you) i stayed out later than i usually do with the result of the sell, as well as people taking down my (half finished) website. next time i'm going to bring business cards dammit!!! if you would like to see my half finished website go to geoffciccarelli.com

It was good! very sculptural based. Lots of found object sculptures and the like. An AMAZING artist had these Japanese water colors that were huge and sooo good! (i photographed some with my phone, i know gallery foul, but they were too good to pass up!)  As usual i set out my display, many compliments (which is always welcome) but no takers, hopefully something next month!  I'm thinking about handing out free origami flowers next time.  I enjoy making them when i'm bored.  Thoughts on this? have a good october everyone :)
