Wow! I'm blazing back after, like, a year long absence! But don't worry i've been keeping busy with plenty of art! But the animations I work on don't get posted here 
But now with my new hobby to keep my hands busy and my eyes off the computer screen at night I have found crochet! And of course combined it with my favorite things: cute and food.

December first friday
SOLD! woot! the cupcake on the blue picnic print sold this friday at my monthly first friday escapade! The gallery shows were impressive in that they were all end of the year collections so everyone's work was being featured. One gallery had 50 artists work displayed!(and its a very tiny gallery mind you)
i stayed out later than i usually do with the result of the sell, as well as people taking down my (half finished) website. next time i'm going to bring business cards dammit!!!

October First Friday
It was good! very sculptural based. Lots of found object sculptures and the like. An AMAZING artist had these Japanese water colors that were huge and sooo good! (i photographed some with my phone, i know gallery foul, but they were too good to pass up!) As usual i set out my display, many compliments (which is always welcome) but no takers, hopefully something next month! I'm thinking about handing out free origami flowers next time. I enjoy making them when i'm bored. Thoughts on this?

For those of you who care....
Well a SERIOUS amount of suspicious activity took place on the last day and resulted in me being pushed out of the top 10 by 300 votes! CRAZY! i still came in 14th place which is exciting and they were 547 legit votes! YAY! Thank you to those of you who voted and supported me :) it was quite the expierence and consumed my whole summer. i'll never do that again :)

Tonight was the night!
Yours truely breached the top ten tonight and made it to rank 7!!!!! if i can keep myself there until monday i'll be in the judging!!!!! i'm extremely excited but trying not to get my hopes up. The votes fluctuate a lot so i'm not counting on staying in the top 10. but still!!!
on a side note, i posted my animation on deviantart and people started downloading it willy-nilly! i started to get nervous about what people were doing with it...what are you doing with it!? well at any rate, i panicked and removed that option, i hope people still enjoy it online :)
